The TCU Trombone Summit is a celebration of the instrument and an event dedicated to advancing trombone chamber music. At least one new work receives its world premiere at the summit each year.
In keeping with the summit’s mission, a trombone quartet competition for high school trombonists is held in conjunction with the summit. The prize for the winning group is $1,000.
