The Division of Strings at TCU offers world-class education with internationally recognized faculty. The comprehensive curriculum includes studio instruction, orchestral performance, chamber music study, instrumental pedagogy and opportunities to explore specialized areas of interest.

Specialized Program

Applicants must complete both the general TCU admission application and a separate School of Music application, which includes a required prescreening video. Selected candidates will be invited to audition on campus.

Apply & Audition

You'll have numerous performance opportunities, including solo recitals, symphony concerts, chamber music ensembles, opera productions and more. You'll also take part in renowned string-related festivals and workshops, collaborating with and performing alongside professional musicians.
