The TCU Tuba-Euphonium Studio is nationally and internationally acclaimed, with graduates excelling as educators, professors, and ensemble performers.

The Tuba-Euphonium Studio offers students exceptional opportunities, including clinics and masterclasses with world-renowned performers and finalist spots in prestigious competitions such as:

  • Leonard Falcone Solo Competition
  • International Tuba-Euphonium Association Solo Competition
  • Tuba-Euphonium Quartet Competition

Formed in 1996, the Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble is a cornerstone of the studio. Open to music majors, non-majors and local players, the ensemble regularly performs and explores new music through events like OctubaFest and Tuba Christmas Caroling.

Graduates of the studio have gone on to hold esteemed positions in professional ensembles, including the United States Army Band, “Pershing’s Own” in Washington, D.C., and other U.S. Army and Navy Bands. 

The ensemble’s legacy reflects the dedication and joy of its members, representing the TCU School of Music at the highest level.
