Purple, White, and Blues is TCU’s select vocal jazz ensemble, known for its engaging
performances often alongside the university jazz band or an instrumental combo.
Auditions are held in two rounds:
The first round takes place the week before classes begin in the fall. Please prepare
a solo in the jazz idiom. To schedule your audition time, contact Dr. Stewart.
The second round occurs during the first class of the semester, where an excerpt of
music will be provided for you to perform.
Rehearsals take place Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 1 p.m.
