If TCU is a repeat champion, then its College of Fine Arts is a new draft pick. For the second year in a row, Texas Christian University was included in the USA Today Ad Meter School Spotlight program.

This past summer and fall, Assistant Professor of Design Rhonda Schaller, M.F.A., showed her design practice and scholarship internationally.

School of Music faculty continue to make an impact on the global stage through an ongoing cultural exchange with the Institución Universitaria Bellas Artes y Ciencias de Bolívar (UNIBAC) Instrumental Clinics in Cartagena, Colombia. Each year, faculty from around the world are invited to the UNIBAC to give masterclasses, perform recitals and participate in daily rehearsals and performances, sharing expertise and fostering cross-cultural collaboration.

For more than two decades, “Ellis Island: The Dream of America” has been a collaboration between the Department of Theatre and the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra (FWSO). Directed by Professor of Theatre Harry Parker, Ph.D., the multimedia performance blends orchestral music, historical narration and imagery to tell the stories of immigrants arriving in America through Ellis Island in the early 20th century.

The TCU Wind Ensemble will take center stage at the prestigious 2025 Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Conference in San Antonio, the nation’s largest gathering of music educators.

Associate Professor of Theatre Ian Loveall, M.F.A., served as associate scenic designer in collaboration with Las Vegas–based Andy Walmsley Entertainment, contributing to a large-scale immersive environment for a corporate event for an artificial intelligence company.
