NME faculty artist performers at the Fort Worth Modern Arts Museum

The New Music Ensemble (NME) program is dedicated to performing a wide range of repertoire, from early 20th-century classics to contemporary works by living composers. As a chamber music program with diverse ensembles of varying sizes and instrumentation, NME is open to TCU’s most advanced music students and features active faculty participation.

The ensemble’s mission is to bring dynamic and innovative contemporary music to the community. Since 2021, NME has partnered with the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, hosting concerts in its beautiful auditorium adjacent to Café Modern.

Students interested in participating should enroll in the New Music Ensemble class:

  • Graduate: MUSI 60150
  • Undergraduate: MUSI 10150
