The Division of Percussion at TCU focuses on enhancing percussion education through diverse performing ensembles and personalized private lessons. 

Our graduates develop a comprehensive understanding of music and the percussion family, excelling as top educators at the elementary, middle school, high school and collegiate levels. Many also go on to become published composers.

Applicants must complete both the general TCU admission application and a separate School of Music application, which includes a required prescreening video. Selected candidates will be invited to audition on campus.

The highly selective TCU Percussion Studio offers a unique blend of private instruction and diverse performing ensembles, including the internationally recognized Percussion Orchestra and Percussion Ensemble. You can also experience the excitement of the Steel Band or the precision of the Marching Band Drumline.
