Audition Prep Weekend

Audition Prep Weekend is a three‑day intensive designed to prepare high‑school singers for any college voice audition. Participants should plan to be available for the full weekend: Friday evening, all day Saturday, and Sunday afternoon. This ensures you can participate fully in masterclasses, panels, recording sessions, and mentoring.
Throughout the weekend, students will receive:
- Guidance on application materials
- Coaching on what makes a strong prescreen and live audition
- Training in stage and camera deportment
- Small‑group masterclass work with TCU voice faculty
- Professional headshots
- Prescreen recordings made in our recital hall
By the end of the weekend, you will leave with everything you need to begin your college application process, regardless of where you plan to apply.
Audition Prep Weekend Registration Fee: $25 This fee covers all weekend activities, recording sessions, and headshots.

If this event has reached capacity, please check out our Voice Day offering. Voice Day will be held this year on Monday, October 12, 2026, and gives students the chance to attend classes, shadow current students, tour campus, and experience “a day in the life” of a TCU voice major.
How Audition Prep differs from Voice Day:
Audition Prep Weekend is focused on preparing you for college auditions — coaching, materials, recordings, and professional guidance. Voice Day is focused on experiencing life as a TCU student — classes, rehearsals, campus tours, and community.
We encourage students to attend both events if possible.
