TCU International Double Bass Festival

 

The TCU International Double Bass Festival is one of the largest festivals of its kind in North America, attracting more than 200 double bassists from all over the world to attend the event. The Festival features lectures, masterclasses, guest artist recitals, presentations, an instrument exhibition, and an orchestral competition. The world-renowned double bassist Gary Karr has been a repeat special guest artist of TCU International Double Bass Festival.

The next festival is scheduled for the 2021-2022 academic year. Specific dates will be announced at a later date on this page and on the TCU Events calendar.
