Since 2007, world-class cellists and students from the finest institutions have converged at the TCU Cellofest for concerts, masterclasses, ensembles, a concerto competition and an exhibition room. The festival features renowned masters who share their art with students, cello performances from solo to small and large ensembles and conversations on esthetics, cello, bow making and the contributions that cellists bring to the world.
TCU cello students who attend Cellofest can:
- Observe guest artists, cello ensembles and students perform.
- Work with guest artists who teach masterclasses in rehearsals and concerts with the TCU Symphony Orchestra and the TCU Chamber Orchestra.
- Learn new works for cello ensemble and in the orchestra.
- Network with peers and guests.
