Band Camp
Band Camp is a mandatory pre-semester event for all marching band members. Camp provides time to learn drill, music, and marching fundamentals before the semester begins.

Orientation Sessions & Frog Camp
Band Camp may conflict with some TCU Orientation or Frog Camp sessions. Students who have conflicts should contact Dr. Dickey to arrange excused absences. Dr. Dickey will send out a camp excuse form in the Band App prior to the start of camp.
Camp Absences
If you must miss camp for any reason, you must submit an excuse form prior to the start of camp. (including drum corps conflicts)
This form will be sent out via the band app prior to the start of camp. Please note: just because an excuse form is sent in does not mean you are excused. Excuses will be evaluated on an individual basis and the status communicated ahead of time. In addition, missing part of camp can result in a scholarship reduction.
