TCU Summer Saxophone Workshop

TCU Saxophone Workshop professor and student

CANCELED

June 10 & 11, 2021

The Annual TCU Saxophone Workshop will return in 2021 in a virtual format for all who would like to participate. Students with at least three years of playing experience are encouraged to apply. The online workshop will consist of two days of masterclasses, performances, and saxophone pedagogy to share with you and enhance your performance skills and improve your overall musicianship.

Students should be prepared to perform at least one piece (preferably two) in the style of their choice. If you prepare two, please have two contrasting pieces prepared.

An important part of our experience this year will be listening to each other perform. We will also have the opportunity to listen to some of the great masters of both classical and jazz saxophone in some classic videos I will be sharing with you. I hope that this year’s workshop will be an enjoyable experience for all those who choose to participate.

Technology Requirements

The class is delivered over Zoom – a laptop or desktop computer with an internet connection that can deliver high-quality audio/video is highly recommended.
