Piano Audition Requirements

Applicants will be notified if they advance to the audition round to perform on campus. All auditions must be completed by February 8. First-year undergraduates invited to audition will be considered for scholarships.
- The prescreening video must consist of at least 15 minutes of music.
- Prepare a program of three works from different stylistic periods, demonstrating musical breadth and technical proficiency. One of the works should be the first or last movement from a Classical sonata by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, or Clementi.
- Individual movements from larger works are permitted.
- All music must be performed from memory.
- The prescreening video must consist of at least 15 minutes of music.
- Prepare a program of three works from different stylistic periods; a Sonata-Allegro movement by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, or Clementi is suggested for one of the selections.
