Applicants will be notified if they advance to the audition round to perform on campus. Applicants invited to audition will be considered for scholarships and graduate assistantships.

  • Piece(s) demonstrating ability on keyboard percussion (two mallet, four mallet, or both)
  • Piece(s) demonstrating ability on snare drum (concert, rudimental, or both)
  • Piece(s) demonstrating ability on timpani
  • Drum set styles demonstration (rock, jazz, Latin)

Given the extensive repertoire requirements, selections should be kept concise. Performing one movement of a longer piece or preparing cuts from a piece is acceptable.

  • Two mallet keyboard percussion piece
  • Four mallet keyboard percussion piece
  • Concert snare drum piece
  • Rudimental snare drum (or tenor) piece
  • Timpani piece
  • Drum set styles demonstration (rock, jazz, Latin)
