Applicants will be notified if they advance to the audition round to perform on campus. Applicants invited to audition will be considered for scholarships and graduate assistantships. 

Each video recording must be unedited, with a fixed camera position, visible hands, and high-quality audio. Audio-only submissions are not accepted. Recordings must be from the past six months.

  • Present works from at least three stylistic periods, including a major Classical work.
  • The prescreening recording must be at least 30 minutes.
  • All music must be performed from memory.

The live audition is 45 minutes, and all music must be performed from memory.

  • One work from the Baroque period
  • One complete sonata from the Classical period
  • One major work from the 19th century
  • Two etudes of virtuosity, one of which must be by Chopin
  • One work from the 20th or 21st century
