Saxophone Studio

The Saxophone Studio focuses on classical saxophone literature, with the option to study jazz and commercial music. This balanced approach provides students with the experience necessary to become professional educators and performers.
The Saxophone Studio explores chamber music in duos, trios, quartets, quintets and full saxophone choir. Members develop skills in intonation, stylistic accuracy, balance and blend, while performing both standard classical and jazz chamber repertoire for saxophone ensembles.
The TCU Saxophone Ensembles have performed at prestigious events, including:
- Coleman Chamber Ensemble Competition
- Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition
- North American Saxophone Alliance conferences
- U.S. Navy International Saxophone Symposium in Washington, D.C.
