Trombone Studio
The TCU Trombone Studio offers students a dynamic learning environment, combining expert faculty instruction with presentations by world-renowned guest artists.
The trombone studio provides each student with the opportunity to develop their skills in trombone performance, education and pedagogy.
The TCU Trombone Choir, part of the studio is dedicated to maximizing trombone education through a wide variety of performing ensembles and a closely supervised private lesson structure. The size of the studio gives students the unique opportunity to receive a variety of performance opportunities and personalized attention.
Students can engage in numerous performance settings, including:
- TCU Bands
- Jazz Ensemble
- Symphony Orchestra
- Trombone Choir
- Brass Chamber Ensembles

TCU Trombone Summit
The Trombone Summit is a celebration of the trombone, designed to foster the growth of trombone chamber music. At least one new work receives its world premiere at the summit each year.
