Applicants will be notified if they advance to the audition round to perform on campus. All auditions must be completed by February 8. First-year undergraduates invited to audition will be considered for scholarships. 

Recordings must be from within the past six months. 

  • Each video recording should be unedited, with a fixed camera position, hands visible and high-quality audio.
  • Audio-only submissions will not be accepted.
  • Repertoire recordings should be submitted as part of the School of Music Admission Application.

The live audition will be approximately 20 minutes, and all repertoire must be performed from memory. Prepare the following:  

  • One prelude and fugue by J.S. Bach.  
  • One movement from a sonata from the Classical period.  
  • One representative work from either the Romantic period (e.g. Chopin, Brahms, Schumann) or the 20th or 21st centuries.
