Applicants will be notified if they advance to the audition round to perform on campus. Applicants invited to audition will be considered for scholarships and graduate assistantships.

  • 30-minute recording featuring videos from within the last 6 months.
  • All repertoire must be performed from memory.
  • Each video must be unedited, with a fixed camera position, hands visible and high-quality audio. 
  • A 15-minute video recording of teaching, including a private lesson (and optionally a group lesson). International students must also submit a video demonstrating their ability to teach in English.
  • Present a 60-minute program covering at least three stylistic periods, including a major work from the classical period. 
  • Perform all repertoire from memory.
  • Present a dossier at the audition, including the audition program, a vita and a repertoire list.
  • The live audition is 45 minutes, including both performance and interview.
