Susan has been the costume shop supervisor for SCCD since 2013. She is a Fort Worth native, growing up in the local dance/theatre community. She has designed or constructed costumes for Vruce Wood Dance, Dark Circles Contemporary Dance, Tarrant County College NE Dance, Amphibian Stage Productions, Fort Worth Opera, Lyric Stage, Creative Arts Theatre and School, Hip Pocket Theatre, Richardson High School Theatre Magnet, Gayle Corkery School of Ballet, Fort Worth Country Day Theatre Department and Ballet Department, Festival Ballet of North Texas, Taps N Tunes, Midland Ballet, and individual dancers. For over 20 years, she taught ballet classes and choreographed various musicals and ballet recitals. She performed in Festival Ballet of North Central Texas’ “Nutcracker” and has been seen on stage at Hip Pocket Theatre. She also enjoys stage managing and toured with Basil Twist’s puppet production of “Petrushka” which performed with the Fort Worth Symphony and the Phoenix Symphony. She hosts and participates in the Tutu.com workshops hosted by SCCD each May.
