Lighting Design for Dance, Opera, Music, & Theatre; Theatrical Production Design & Management; Theatrical Consulting and Infrastructure Planning for Arts Non-Profits and Live Performance Venues, Children’s Theatre.

A native of Fort Worth, Chad began his career on tour with Bruce Wood, and recreated lighting for his mentor Tony Tucci in collaboration with companies all over the country including Ballet Austin and Washington Ballet at the Kennedy Center.  His most recent dance World Premiers include Papagayos for NYC’s Ballet Hispanico at The City Center, Sombreristas by Boca Tuya in Medellín, Colombia, and Ben Stevenson’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream for Texas Ballet Theatre.  As resident designer for Fort Worth Opera, Chad has designed numerous operas over the past 20 years, including the World Premiere of JFK.  Opera credits include designs in Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, Milwaukee, Palm Beach, San Antonio, Seattle, Tampa, and internationally for Opéra de Montréal, and Opera Australia at the iconic Sydney Opera House.  Locally, Chad is also a founding member of Amphibian Stage and the Resident Designer for Kids Who Care Inc, where he is devoted to mentoring young leaders and artists in making positive change in world.
