Jazz Dance I - Hip Hop

Alexa Hubenak is a dedicated educator, choreographer, and performer with nearly three decades of dance experience. A Fort Worth, Texas native, Alexa began her training in the competitive dance world and continued her studies at renowned institutions including Edge PAC, Millennium Dance Complex, and Performing Arts Center (PAC) in Los Angeles. Early in her career, she was selected for a three-year apprenticeship with Tremaine Dance Conventions, working closely alongside industry legends Joe Tremaine, Desiree Robbins, Doug Caldwell, Laurie Johnson, and more.

Her diverse training background spans multiple styles, with additional studies at SoulEscape, Soul2Sole, DancerPalooza, and the University of Arizona Jazz Dance Festival. Alexa has built a celebrated career as a dance educator, choreographing over 100 award-winning pieces for studios and drill teams and mentoring hundreds of students each year. Many of her dancers have gone on to pursue successful careers and higher education in dance.

In addition to her work as a choreographer and teacher, Alexa is an accomplished costume designer and an active judge for the National American Miss pageant system at the state, national, and international levels. In 2023, she was honored with the prestigious Georgia E. Stewart Judge of the Year award. Alexa is passionate about guiding the next generation of dancers and sharing her expertise in both dance and pageantry.
