Aimee Hurst Bozarth’s career as a pianist and musical director includes work with national touring companies, regional and local theaters, professional opera companies and university faculties. Local musical direction credits include Casa Manana (Hairspray, Rent), Circle Theatre (Sweeney Todd), Stage West Theatre (Mr. Burns, a Post-Electric Play; She Loves Me, Johnny Guitar, Cowgirls), Jubilee Theatre (Beehive, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Gifts of the Magi), and Texas Christian University (Wild Party, Company, Children of Eden, The Melody Lingers On, Sister Act, Bare, Bat Boy, Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Urinetown, And the World Goes ‘Round, Closer Than Ever, Anything Goes). In the educational arena, Aimee teaches Musical Theatre Theory at TCU as well as co-teaching musical theatre performance classes, and also presents workshops on audition preparation and performance techniques. As a faculty member at Texas Wesleyan University, Aimee music directed and conducted such shows as Company, Evita, Hair, Little Me and Sweeney Todd. She was Associate Artistic Director of the Texas Boys Choir for nine seasons, appearing in concert nationally and internationally with the world-renowned ensemble.

Aimee received the 2018-2019 Dallas-Fort Worth Theater Critics Forum award for Outstanding Creative Contribution for her work in Circle Theatre’s Sweeney Todd.
