A Strategic Vision

As part of TCU’s Vision in Action strategic plan, the TCU Music Center (including the Van Cliburn Concert Hall at TCU) provides spaces to support our nationally known School of Music and the innovative multi-purpose Fine Arts Building serves as the creative hub for the departments of Fashion Merchandising and Design.

These new buildings — two of TCU’s newest — solidify the Creative Commons on the east side of campus. This new physical environment is designed to inspire and enrich our students and transform the east side of campus just as the creation of the Campus Commons has transformed the west side of campus.

These new facilities connect the Mary Couts Burnett Library, the J.M. Moudy Visual Arts and Communication Building and Rees-Jones Hall to develop a Creative Commons where students can enjoy green spaces and common areas to congregate and collaborate.
