TCU Summer Cello Academy Online: Pre-college and College Students

A time for pre-college and college cello students to further their playing and enjoyment of music. This course will address strategies and techniques for effective practice and successful performance. Repertoire may include solo music as well as the TMEA All-State and Region etudes. TCU School of Music cello professor Dr. Jesus Castro-Balbi will lead this session, assisted by Tsun Kwok. Each participant will receive three 45-minutes lessons; group master-classes will extend the learning experience. Individual practice and lessons will be held in the morning while group classes will take place from 2:30 to 4 pm daily. **You will receive a brief online form to complete on your confirmation receipt. Each participant will receive three 45-minutes lessons; group master-classes will extend the learning experience.
