About

Bradley Hetherington is a first year graduate student at Texas Christian University.  He is pursuing a Master’s of Music in Piano Pedagogy and holds a graduate assistantship with the School of Music teaching piano pedagogy courses.

Hetherington is from Davis, Oklahoma, where he graduated from Davis High School in 2015. In 2019 he graduated Cum Laude from Oklahoma Baptist University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance with an Emphasis in Pedagogy. He started taking piano lessons at the age of eight and competed in the Federation of Music Competitions from ages nine to eighteen, He advanced to the state competition seven times and receiving honorable mention each time. Hetherington was a recipient of the Oklahoma State Superintendent Arts Excellence Award in 2015. He has served as an adjudicator for the BGCO’s Hymn Competition.  Prior to joining the faculty of the Texas Christian University Preparatory Department, he held positions at the Oklahoma Baptist University Preparatory Department and had his own piano studio in Davis, OK.

Hetherington has had many performance, accompanying, and masterclass experiences throughout his professional career. Hetherington is working toward completion of his Masters of Music Degree from Texas Christian University in 2021.
