A composite of three dance portraits features sisters Victoria, Sasha and Katya Volodina. Victoria, left, poses in a white tutu; Sasha, center, performs in a purple leotard and flowing skirt; and Katya, right, poses en pointe in a peach-colored tutu.

For sisters Sasha, Katya and Victoria Volodina, ballet has always been part of the family. At TCU, that shared passion has given each sister room to pursue a distinctly different path.

All three found their way from Helena, Montana, to TCU’s School for Classical & Contemporary Dance. Sasha Volodina ’25 paired ballet with psychology before beginning her professional dance career, while Katya combines ballet with criminology and criminal justice and Victoria studies ballet and mathematics.

Together, their experiences demonstrate how TCU allows students to pursue rigorous artistic training while exploring interests across disciplines — and how three sisters can share the same stage while building futures of their own.
