Logan Superfrog Reveal

For Logan Lowery, some of his most meaningful college moments happened both on stage and behind the mask. Alongside performances in productions like Merrily We Roll Along and The Odyssey, the musical theatre major spent three years as SuperFrog, bringing energy and spirit to TCU fans across campus and beyond.

Recently revealing his mascot identity at 2026 TCU commencement, he took time to share about his TCU experience, from the College of Fine Arts to life in the suit.

Why did you choose TCU?
From the second I stepped foot on campus, I knew TCU was home. TCU’s theatre department has a strong reputation in the industry and has trained actors for Broadway, television and more. As soon as I was accepted, I knew I would be in good hands.

What’s one lesson you’ve learned during your time in Fine Arts that you’ll carry with you?
No matter how talented you are, nothing replaces kindness. People are drawn to those who are kind. What kind of impact will you leave if you create wonderful art but tear down the people around you in the process? Treat others as more significant than yourself, and the work you do becomes more fulfilling and meaningful.

What’s your favorite memory as SuperFrog?
I got to perform during the entire second half of the Alamo Bowl this past December. Being on the field, cheering on the Horned Frogs as we made history and inspired millions on national TV — does it get much better than that?

How did being SuperFrog shape your college experience?
Being SuperFrog has been the best part of my college experience. Physically, it has been a major commitment — I’ve lost a lot of sweat and gained endurance over the past three years in the suit.

More importantly, being SuperFrog is an ongoing act of humility and care for others. It can be exhausting. There are times when you want to take a break, stop taking photos and be done. No one knows it’s you, so what does it matter? But there’s always that voice reminding you of the fans — the young kid at their first TCU game, excited to meet SuperFrog, or the alum who has never gotten a photo.

Those are the moments that shape you. You learn to set aside comfort and choose service. SuperFrog has taught me that going the extra mile to make someone’s day better is always worth it.

How do you think the mascot impacts school spirit and the TCU community?
SuperFrog is a major part of school spirit. At every event, he’s one of the most high-energy and dedicated fans in the crowd. SuperFrog energizes the audience and represents an incredible fan base.

What’s next for you?
This fall, I’ll be moving to New York City to pursue a career in acting and theatre.
