Solitude in the City

January 17 - February 7

"Solitude in the City" opens on January 17th, from 5-7pm. This exhibition presents a selection of twenty prints from TCU’s Permanent Art Collection that explore the shared human experience of feeling alone or isolated within the crowded urban landscape. "Solitude in the City" is curated by TCU MA Art History students Emily Dorward, Jennifer Earthman, Elizabeth Theban, & Jennifer Yuhas.

The 2019 MFA Candidacy Exhibition features works by Francisco Josué Alvarado Araujo, Dario S. Bucheli, Sierra Forester, and Hector A. Ramirez.  This group of MFA Candidates create work across different media and conceptual themes. The 2019 MFA Candidacy Exhibition opens at Fort Worth Contemporary Arts on Friday, January 18th, from 6-8pm. The exhibition runs from January 18 to February 16, 2019.

Solitude in the City: Exhibition Tour

January 24 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Join us on Thursday, January 24th at 5:30pm in Moudy Gallery for a guided tour of "Solitude in the City", lead by exhibition curators Emily Dorward, Jennifer Earthman, Elizabeth Theban, and Jennifer Yuhas. The tour will include an overview of the works, and showcase of materials and processes related to works on paper.
