We’re excited to announce that Topy Nguyen ’25, a master’s student in Music Education at the TCU School of Music, has been selected as one of the recipients of the prestigious 2024 Perry R. Bass Fellowship.
Established in 2007 by Performing Arts Fort Worth in honor of Mr. Perry R. Bass, this fellowship recognizes graduate students in music education who demonstrate exceptional musicianship and a profound dedication to their craft. Nguyen’s selection stands as a testament to the outstanding skills and commitment to music education he has cultivated under the mentorship of Laura Singletary, Associate Professor and Division Chair of Music Education.
“I am extremely grateful to Performing Arts Fort Worth for their support of me as well as music education,” said Nguyen. “With this fellowship, I hope to continue to shape the world of music education in our ever-evolving community and to continue to touch the heart and soul of each and every student through music.”
