Dancing with the Stars of Disney’s Aladdin

Department of Theatre students had the unique opportunity to learn from industry professionals in an exclusive dance masterclass, led by the talented cast of Disney’s Aladdin. As the cast prepares for their upcoming performance at Bass Performance Hall, students explored the intricacies of choreography, stage presence and the art of storytelling.

Students received personalized feedback and guidance from Angelina Mullins and Colt Prattes, enhancing their understanding of musical theatre productions.

“The three areas we want to focus on are students’ lines, musicality and storytelling,” explained Prattes.

This collaboration exemplifies the department’s commitment to providing students with real-world exposure and fostering a dynamic learning environment that prepares them for successful careers in the performing arts.

“Theatre TCU is fortunate to be in a metroplex that allows us to capitalize on professional touring productions and artists coming through DFW and incorporating their experience and expertise into our training through guest artists and masterclasses,” said Department Chair and Professor of Theatre Jennifer Engler. “Students have an opportunity to learn from and engage with some of the top talents in the field.”
