Chamber Music

Extensive chamber music experience is an integral part of every well-rounded musician’s education because it combines the performance aspects of solo and ensemble playing and develops musical sensitivity in the performer. Chamber groups at TCU receive coaching from the faculty and perform regularly in master classes for faculty and distinguished guests, and present concerts throughout the year. Additional scholarship opportunities are available for an incoming bass student who is willing to play in TCU Jazz Band and who already has some jazz experience.

Each summer, Chamber Music Roundup offers advanced students an intensive one-week workshop for string quartets.
