Trombone Studio

Through weekly studio teaching, the TCU Trombone studio class and presentations by world renown guest artists, every student has an opportunity to develop their skills in trombone performance, education and pedagogy.

Members of the TCU Trombone studio have a wide range of performance opportunities to advance their musical development. Ensembles include the TCU Bands, Jazz Ensemble, Orchestra, TCU Trombone Choir and Brass Chamber ensembles.

 

TCU Trombone Choir

The TCU Trombone Choir is dedicated to maximizing trombone education through a wide variety of performing ensembles and a closely supervised private lesson structure. The size of the studio gives students the unique opportunity to receive a variety of performance opportunities and personalized attention.

 

TCU Trombone Summit

The TCU Trombone Summit is a celebration of the instrument and an event dedicated to advancing trombone chamber music. At least one new work receives its world premiere at the summit each year.
