The Department of Design provides peer student organizations designed to help you enhance your skills and build connections with industry professionals. These organizations are open to all students, regardless of major, unless otherwise noted.
Design Focus
Design Focus welcomes all students interested in graphic design and aims to enhance
design education through on-campus speakers, special events and service projects.
The organization supports students by subsidizing fees for design conferences and
competitions.

Graphic Design Society of Creative Excellence
The Graphic Design Society of Creative Excellence comprises exceptional graphic design
and design studies students, including scholarship recipients, who are invited to
join by faculty.

Professional Organizations
The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) provides interior design students
with educational resources, networking opportunities, design competitions and internship/job
listings. Professional development is supported through workshops, conferences and
events, while scholarship programs offer financial assistance.
