The College of Fine Arts offers undergraduate degree-plan options across six departments and schools.

School of Art

At the School of Art, you’ll learn from professors who are active in the arts by publishing research, exhibiting their work in museums and galleries, and lecturing nationally and internationally. Because the School of Art offers a personal learning environment, you’ll connect with your professors and access experiences outside the classroom.

School for Classical & Contemporary Dance

The School for Classical & Contemporary Dance blends artistic integrity and technical excellence with academic challenge. Our graduates have gone on to perform with companies such as Eugene Ballet Company, Nashville Ballet, Mark Morris Dance Company and Garth Fagan Dance as well as on cruise ships and with Broadway national tours.

Department of Design 

Department of Design graduates land meaningful creative positions at prestigious agencies — in many cases before they graduate. Our loyal and well-connected alumni network is a testament to the positive experiences people have here as students and to their long-term professional success. 

Department of Fashion Merchandising

The Department of Fashion Merchandising offers the highest quality artistic education in a liberal arts environment. You’ll develop your analytical thinking, clarity in written and spoken expression, collaboration and creativity to adapt to whatever the future might bring and elevate your talent, intelligence and values.

School of Music 

The School of Music is a nationally recognized, award-winning institution that features distinguished faculty and talented student body of 325+ majors and hundreds of non-majors. As one of TCU’s designated Centers of Focus, the School of Music creates an exciting musical environment where students grow as artists, educators and individuals.

Department of Theatre

In the Department of Theatre, you’ll gain the highest quality artistic and academic theatre education with our professional training program in a liberal arts environment.
