Alyssa Boortz

Alyssa Boortz (she/her) is a junior music education major at Texas Christian University. She plays clarinet in the TCU Wind Symphony, Clarinet Choir, and trombone in the Horned Frog Marching Band. In addition to being a music ambassador, Alyssa is a member of the national honorary band sorority Tau Beta Sigma, the Texas Music Educators Association, and the TCU Music Educators Organization. The highlight of her junior year is performing at Midwest with the TCU Clarinet Choir in December. Being Alyssa’s first year as a music ambassador, she cannot wait to assist prospective students in their life-changing journey to becoming a horned frog!
