Department of Design Student Handbook
We believe students thrive when they form relationships that make them feel connected – to each other, to the TCU community and to the world around them. With the mentorship and guidance from fellow Horned Frogs, we believe those in design can feel that supportive environment.
From small classes to professional development opportunities, the Department of Design at TCU allows you to develop relationships with faculty members who are graphic design professionals themselves to grow you as a designer.
Students are encouraged to attend extracurricular professional conferences and meetings and to enter their work in industry-specific design competitions. Many such opportunities exist in the local and regional area, as well as at the national and international levels. The Department offers financial support through travel and other grants.
