Student Work

Graphic design students earn recognition for their design work from numerous professional design competitions. Graphic design student work has been featured in Graphis, HOW and other national publications. Students also receive class credit for participating in these international and national design competitions.

Graphis Annual

In recent years, TCU’s Graphic Design program has experienced phenomenal success internationally with the acceptance of student work in the Graphis New Talent Annual, based in Zurich, Switzerland.

Our students compete with students from the world’s best design programs — including graduate programs. Last year, TCU logged the second most accepted student entries; only the School of Visual Art in New York produced more.

DFW Competitions

The Dallas-Fort Worth design community provides excellent opportunities for students to exhibit their best work and compete for awards. Students are strongly encouraged to enter and are given support by the faculty and TCU’s Design Focus student group.

The American Advertising Federation and the Dallas Society of Visual Communication hold highly visible student competitions each year. TCU is well represented in both competitions, with students winning a number of top awards for their work.

TCU Graphic Design Student Competition

This annual contest is an opportunity for students to earn scholarships and awards, qualify for the Graphic Design Honor Society and showcase in the student show in Moudy Gallery.
