STEP TWO: Submit Theatre TCU Prescreen

All BFA Theatre programs require an audition or portfolio review for entrance. A performance audition is required for both Acting and Musical Theatre majors. A portfolio review/interview is required for both Design & Technology and Theatre Studies majors. BA Theatre students are not required to audition for entrance.

To secure a BFA entrance audition or portfolio review, upload a complete profile to Acceptd as a prescreen. If the prescreen is approved, you will be contacted to schedule an entrance audition or portfolio review.

All students who audition for one of the BFA programs in Theatre will be considered for the BA degree. You do not need to submit a second application for the BA program if you are completing a BFA program audition/portfolio review.

Please review each program’s prescreen and audition/portfolio review requirements.

Theatre TCU’s Acceptd prescreen portal will remain open October 1, 2024 – February 1, 2025.
