Ready to Apply?
Undergraduate admission to the School for Classical & Contemporary Dance (SCCDance) involves a two-step process:
- Application and acceptance through the TCU Office of Admission.
- Application, audition and acceptance to the SCCDance.
There is no specific order for these applications, but you must be accepted to TCU
before your acceptance to the SCCDance can be finalized.

Application & Audition Information
All applicants must create a profile and submit the required materials through the Get Acceptd platform, regardless of whether they are auditioning in person, offsite or virtual.
You do not need to wait for an acceptance notification to audition for our program.
Dates for Fall 2027 Entry
In-person audition dates are:
- Nov. 13, 2026 (application due Nov. 9, 2026)
- Jan. 29, 2027 (application due Jan. 25, 2027)
- Feb. 12, 2027 (application due Feb. 8, 2027)
Virtual applications:
- Nov. 9, 2027 Early Action virtual applications due
- Feb. 8, 2027 Spring virtual applications due
Offsite audition locations and dates:
- Boca Ballet Theatre College Dance Fair: September 4-6, 2026, audition application must be submitted by Monday, August 31. Find more information on the Boca Ballet website
- Dance Council of North Texas Open College Audition: Tuesday, November 17, 2026, audition application must be submitted by Monday, November 9, 2026. - Kinder HSPVA - Monday, October 12, 2026: Audition Application must be submitted in acceptd to be considered.
- This off-site audition opportunity is for Kinder HSPVA Students ONLY.
