Erma Lowe Hall, renovated to a state-of-the-art facility in 2011, was TCU’s original gymnasium.
Lowe Hall is home to the School for Classical & Contemporary Dance.

A beautiful, light-filled studio on our main floor with piano, sound system, sprung flooring, and marley overlay. As with all the studios, these critical learning spaces are filled with dance and discovery from morning to night.

An inspiring dance space that serves for all daily classes and rehearsals and converts to a 165-seat studio theater with telescopic seating, full lighting, projection, sound, and baby grand piano. The studio floors are sprung and include marley overlay.

Our Studio Theater includes a balcony which is the location of the state-of-the-art lighting and sound booth and additional seating.

Another, large dance space for daily classes and rehearsals and located on the top floor of Erma Lowe Hall, the windows of this studio look out into the treeptops and nightly sunsets. The studio floors are sprung and include marley overlay.

A beautifully equipped conditioning space filled with Pilates Reformers, Cadillacs, Barrels, and Chairs and a Gyrotonic ™ Expansion System tower (not pictured).

A 26-station Mac Lab that houses specialized software for lighting and production design, this lab serves as the “traditional” classroom space of Erma Lowe Hall.

Construction, design, dyeing, fitting, this costume shop houses beautifully organized costume inventory available to BFA student choreographers as well as sewing machines and all equipment for construction of new designs.
