Before coming to TCU, Freeman served as an associate professor at Mississippi State University. He brings a wealth of industry expertise and research interests, focusing particularly on product development, cotton end-use and creative thinking processes. His outstanding contributions have been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Best Track Paper in Local & Global Retailing and Entrepreneurship by the American Collegiate Retailers Association. Additionally, Freeman proudly serves as a member of the Council of Administrators Family & Consumer Sciences and the International Textiles and Apparel Association.

Garner comes to TCU from the University of Oregon, where he served as professor of dance and coordinator for the faculty dance concerts. With over 30 years of experience, he brings expertise in contemporary dance performance, choreography and interdisciplinary collaboration, with a diverse background in ballet, jazz and modern dance. His performance repertoire includes early American modern dance classics by Ted Shawn, Anna Sokolow and Alvin Ailey. Having performed professionally nationwide, Garner has collaborated with acclaimed contemporary choreographers such as Doug Varone, Teri O’Connor and Keith Johnson.

Marc Reed, D.M.A.

Reed previously served as the Director of the Schools of Music and Dance, Theatre and Arts Administration at The University of Akron. He brings with him a rich and diverse career, having also served as the former principal trumpet of the San Juan Symphony Orchestra, third trumpet of the Music in the Mountains Festival Orchestra and solo cornetist in the Great Western Rocky Mountain Brass Band. Reed holds the esteemed position of Secretary at the International Trumpet Guild (ITG) and chairs the ITG Recording Production Committee, serves as an artist-faculty member of the National Trumpet Competition and is an artist/clinician for the Bach Trumpet Division of the Conn-Selmer Corporation.
