The School of Music is bringing three Grammy Award–winning artists to campus for the 14th Biennial Latin American Music Festival, an extraordinary opportunity for students and the community alike.

This year’s festival will feature performances and masterclasses with:

Paquito D’Rivera will be performing on the TCU campus for the first time.

Throughout the festival, students will study, rehearse and perform alongside these renowned musicians while immersing themselves in the vibrant traditions of Latin American music.

Music touches the soul of a person,” said Germán Gutiérrez, professor of orchestral studies and festival founder. “When we have the opportunity to interact with different cultures, we help our students become ethical leaders in the global community.”

Since its founding in 1997, the festival has welcomed acclaimed Latin American composers and artists, all with the goal of exposing students to a global music education rooted in cultural connection and artistic excellence.
