Selected from a cohort of 21 summer interns, Katherine Vezzetti, a senior fashion merchandising major at TCU, was awarded the Triple Star Award at the conclusion of her internship at Kendra Scott this summer. The Triple Star Award is the highest honor that one can receive at Kendra Scott for exuding the company’s three pillars of family, fashion and philanthropy.

Fellow interns nominated Vezzetti for the award for her caring heart, passion for fashion and commitment to giving back. She was presented the award on National Intern Day, July 25, at the Kendra Scott headquarters in Austin, Texas.

Vezzetti interned in the product development department under mentor Morgan Wilson ’09, an alumna of the fashion merchandising program who now works as a product development manager at Kendra Scott.

Internships in the Department of Fashion Merchandising are an important part of the curriculum for students to apply skills learned in the classroom and gain first-hand industry experience.
