About

Ashton Fineout is a Grammy-Nominated and Billboard Charting Artist with recording credits from the Dallas String Quartet’s Album ‘Love Always’ charting #2 on both the Classical and Classical Crossover Billboard charts.

Ms. Fineout’s performance appearances include the Academy of Country Music Awards with Ed Sheeran and Luke Combs, TV appearances on WFAA Good Morning Texas with Dallas String Quartet, as well as performances with other award-winning artists on tour such as Michael Bublé, 2Cellos, and Sarah Brightman. Distinguished client performances include former President & First Lady George W. Bush and Laura Bush, The Bill Gates Family, Jerry Jones and The Dallas Cowboys, Ferrari, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, and more.

Ashton is a Co-Founder and violinist in The Finestrung Duo with her sister and colleague Aubrey Fineout-Watts on viola where they perform their own custom arrangements on both acoustic and electric instruments, blending classical and modern stylistic sensibilities for a truly one-of-a-kind experience. Ms. Fineout is also a member of ABILENE Music, a neo-classical ensemble founded by composer/arranger Joshua Spacht where the group performs original compositions and arrangements that focus on the reinvention and deconstruction of the classics to bring new relevance in modern-day culture. Most recently, Ashton is also a member of Sapphire String Music, a Dallas String Quartet production that focuses on bringing luxury acoustic/electric string entertainment ensembles to events.

In 2018, Ashton graduated from the Artist Diploma program in Violin Performance at Texas Christian University under the guidance of Dr. Elisabeth Adkins. Ms. Fineout completed her Bachelor of Music in 2015 with Dr. Felix Olschofka, graduating cum laude in Violin Performance from the University of North Texas and received the distinction of “Outstanding Undergraduate” by a unanimous faculty vote.

Ms. Fineout is also in high demand as a teacher; she currently teaches private lessons and directs Texas All-State violin sectionals at Byron Nelson High School, teaches private lessons at Truett Wilson MS and Tidwell MS, maintains a private studio within TCU Music Preparatory, as well as her own private violin studio. Ms. Fineout has completed training courses on the Suzuki Teaching Method as a member of the Suzuki Association of America. She enjoys teaching people of all ages through the discovery of every student’s individual learning style, natural aptitude strengths, and anatomical set up, tailoring her teaching approach to each student.
