About
Although originally from Louisiana, Carlie Toliver considers herself a Texan after attending Baylor for her Bachelor’s in Piano Performance, SMU for her Masters in Piano Performance and Pedagogy, and TCU for her in-progress Doctorate in Piano Pedagogy. She began playing piano at just three years old, and she loved it from the very beginning. Even from a young age, performing was a passion, as she has always enjoyed making people smile through music. She especially loves performing in church settings where she has the opportunity to incorporate religious music, some of which she has arranged.
Carlie is an active chamber musician in the Amicizia Trio,, solo performer, collaborative pianist, and teacher based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. When not studying, practicing, or teaching, she can most likely be found trying new flavors of tea at cute coffee shops, playing with her puppy named Baylor, or playing pickleball.
