Chair’s Message

Through a global and multifaceted approach, fashion merchandising students develop analytical thinking, oral and written communication and collaboration skills while developing their creativity, design process knowledge and technical skills.

Our graduates work for fashion firms, manufacturers, and retail and wholesale organizations. Some graduates hold marketing positions in nonprofit organizations while others pursue graduate degrees in law or fashion related areas.

At TCU, you’ll interpret the world around you and gain a larger context for thinking creatively, understanding the big picture and communicating effectively. Our location in a major metropolitan market center keeps faculty and students abreast of industry needs and requirements and provides real-world experiences in your own backyard.
